The Texas Pediatric Society welcomes names of members who may be interested in serving on the TPS Executive Board (Board of Directors). The Nominating Committee will be considering the following open positions:
TPS Executive Board
Regional Chair, North Region
Regional Chair, West Region
Early Career Physician Representative
Non-Board Positions Available
2 Positions for Nominating Committee – 1-year term (meets by conference call). Potential candidates must have served in a board or leadership capacity (such as past board member, past president, committee co-chair or committee member).
Meetings and Requirements
The TPS Executive Board meets throughout the year, both virtually as well as at in-person meetings at the TPS Annual Meeting in September/October and at the TPS Annual Leadership Planning Summit in April.
Below you will be asked to:
- Provide your full contact information including name, practice name or institution, complete address, cell phone and email.
- Upload a brief summary of your relevant TPS activities, engagement, and service to date. The summary does not need to be lengthy but should provide an overview of how you have been involved in TPS over the past several years. Applications will be considered based on TPS engagement.
- Share why you are interested in serving in the selected role(s).
TPS is fortunate to have so many dedicated and engaged members who are willing to serve. The Nominating Committee will consider all candidate submissions when selecting the final nominees.
