In collaborative effort with the TPS Early Career Physician (ECP), Resident/Fellow, and Medical Student Sections, we are excited to announce the launch of the TPS Pediatric Advisor for Committee Engagement (PACE) initiative in 2022.
Led by the ECP section, the goals of TPS PACE are to nurture future leaders in the society and establish a formal connection with trainees to engage them on committees. Through this program TPS will support and enhance leadership skills with the early career physicians serving as an advisor, promote a safe space for the trainees to discuss pediatric issues, and develop institutional knowledge through organized medicine.
Through the support of the TPS co-chairs, the program is designed to formalize relationships between the early career physician and trainee that might not organically occur. It is the hope of the sections that, by connecting trainees with an early career physician, we will provide a unique professional development experience while increasing participation in the society’s overall activities.
If you are a trainee please check out your committee's ECP committee representative.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out the Director of Member Services.
