The Center for Adolescent Health at People’s Community Clinic in Austin, TX is recruiting an adolescent medicine-focused physician. An experienced nurse practitioner may be considered. This is an opportunity to join an established interdisciplinary team that enjoys its work with diverse youth ages 10-24.
The adolescent department provides the range of primary and specialty care, including reproductive health, mental health, developmental differences, and chronic disease management. There are formal and informal collaborations with other nonprofits, school districts, and universities. Most clinicians are involved in advocacy work. There are opportunities for teaching and mentoring. The program has received multiple awards and recognition for its role in promoting adolescent health. Plus we have fun. Work flexibility, telehealth, and part-time scribe availability are part of what we offer.
People’s Community Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving all ages. The clinic offers Integrated Behavioral Health, OB care, pediatric and adult care, a teaching kitchen, Community Health Workers, Health Education, and more.
