DFPS Medical Director

NEWLY REVISED - Job Posting for DFPS Medical Director

(posting 534013)

Since the last posting, there are a few key changes I’d like to highlight:

  1. Location is negotiable, and the position has been posted “statewide”
  2. Telework flexibility is highlighted
  3. Flexibility in schedule is highlighted
  4. Dual employment will be considered

As you may be aware, longstanding TPS member Dr. Roberto Rodriguez departed the Department of Family & Protective Services in late 2021. It was a privilege to work with him in his role as DFPS Medical Director, and we are all so incredibly thankful for his dedicated state service. DFPS is now seeking a new Medical Director that will play a key role in improving the health and well-being of children and youth in state conservatorship.
