The Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) program is a flagship initiative of the AAP that supports pediatricians in their efforts to collaborate within their communities to advance the health of all children. CATCH engages a network of volunteer pediatricians, including the Chapter CATCH Facilitators (CCFs), who provide technical assistance to those seeking funding and offer support to the grantees once a project has started. The CATCH program is currently recruiting for vacancies in several AAP chapters and Texas is one of vacancies! If you are interested, CCFs serve a 3-year term. Please send a letter of interest to TPS Executive Director Stacey Mather by Monday, July 31st. Then the executive director and TPS Chapter Chair will review and recommend who will serve in the role. Review the current CCF roster here and find recruitment resources on the Chapter and District Leadership collaboration site (click on Chapter CATCH Facilitators). Please contact CATCH program staff with any questions.
