Caring for the Children of Zika

The Texas Pediatric Society is working with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to improve awareness and implement training for healthcare providers in Texas surrounding the care of children born to mothers with Zika. DSHS received funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide training related to caring for children with possible Congenital Zika Infection. As a DSHS subcontractor for this project, TPS will be hosting a symposium this summer on the latest recommendations for pediatricians and pediatric sub-specialists on caring for children affected by Zika.

To help us in our symposium content development and in identifying knowledge gaps, please complete the needs assessment (link here) by March 12th.
