Advocate for Texas Children

Texas Children are the state's greatest resource. The Texas Pediatric Society provides a forum for pediatricians to join colleagues in advocating for children as well as their profession. The tools below provide an easier way to integrate advocacy into your practice and to learn more about the current activities of the TPS advocacy team.

2023 Legislative Session

The 88th Texas Legislative session runs from January 10, 2023 to May 29, 2023. TPS staff and pediatrician members will be actively advocating for Texas children and the pediatric practice of medicine. Click above for our legislative priorities and all TPS testimony provided to lawmakers.

2021-2022 Interim Activity

Advocating for children doesn't stop with the end of the legislative session. TPS remains active during the interim by implementing legislation, commenting on proposed rules and provided interim testimony.
