Texas Children are the state's greatest resource. The Texas Pediatric Society provides a forum for pediatricians to join colleagues in advocating for children as well as their profession. The 86th Texas Legislative session runs from January 12, 2021 to May 31, 2021. TPS staff and pediatrician members will be actively advocating for Texas children and the pediatric practice of medicine. Click above for our legislative priorities and all TPS testimony provided to lawmakers.
Advocacting for children doesn't stop with the end of the legislative session. TPS remains active during the inteirm by implementing legislation, commenting on proposed rules and provided interim testimony.
