The UT Southwestern Austin Pediatric Residency Program in Austin, TX is recruiting for a full-time, board certified pediatrician with interest and skills as a clinician/educator.

The successful candidate will practice at an FQHC which serves as the program's principal ambulatory/continuity site. He/she will be a faculty member of the Department of Pediatrics of UT Southwestern. Faculty rank will be commensurate with previous experience. Spanish language skills are desirable.
He/she will teach and supervise residents and provide direct patient care in the outpatient clinic. Dell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) is the primary teaching site for the residency program. DCMC is a regional, free-standing children's hospital that serves a 46 county area of Central Texas. The program includes 18 residents per year and two 4th Year Chiefs.
Austin is known for a strong and diverse economy, outstanding educational options, abundant year round outdoor activities, and a vibrant music scene. Austin also was recently awarded the top slot in Kiplinger's 10 Best Cities for the Next Decade.
